    MUNCIE BILLET 6061-T6 ALUMINUM MIDPLATE
    This billet aluminum midplate makes a great upgrade for those wanting a stronger replacement plate to replace worn original die cast plates. It maintains the factory look and uses standard gaskets compared to sand cast replacement plates offered. Additional material has been added to the retaining ring cross section.  Unlike crude cast iron plates made offshore, these made in the USA plates use state of the art hi-speed cnc machines with error checking.  Designed by Muncie book author Paul Cangialosi to yield maximum strength.
    Comes with rear bearing snap ring and dowel.  Uses standard gaskets and and built in vent ports for those running sealed systems. Maintains  a factory look and unmatched finish compared to cast plates.
    Current Ebay iron plates offered can have a .014" thickness variance. Yes, they may work but your transmission gears will eventually fail from misalignment.
    Includes a countershaft anchor hole so that our extended fit countershafts ( also available on Ebay) can be locked to the plate.
