This Tools for remove or install the mainshaft nut. Required for all in-vehicle and bench repairs that involve mainshaft service, including mainshaft fifth gear replacement.
*The transmissions have 4 slot nuts on the output side of the mainshaft to retain the mainshaft 5th gear. Due to the high torque these nuts are tightened to, the correct spanner must be used to remove and install the mainshaft nut.
